Meet your team

The friendly team here at Adams Vets is always available for advice. Our experienced and caring Veterinary Surgeons offer a wide range of expertise to provide individually tailored care to your pet.

Our Veterinary Nurses work as members of the veterinary team, providing expert nursing care for sick animals. Our nurses also play a significant role in educating owners about maintaining the health and welfare of their pets. They carry out technical work and are skilled in undertaking a range of diagnostic tests, medical treatments and minor surgical procedures under veterinary direction.

Nurses registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons are required to maintain their skills and knowledge through regular courses and education. They are also required to adhere to the professional code of conduct for veterinary nurses.

Student Veterinary Nurses are enrolled on a RCVS approved veterinary nursing course with a further education college or university.

The course typically lasts for 2-3 years during that time student nurses must prove their knowledge and practical skills by passing exams, completing assignments and completing a practical training log in order to become qualified veterinary nurses.

We also employ Reception Staff at both branches.
